A New Era for Karma

Adopters Apr 25, 2024

As part of our Spring 2024 Release, we introduced a new era for Karma.

We’re making Karma more transparent, with clear ways to earn from everything you do on CoinList. As a new early adopter, it’s never been easier to start earning Karma.

1. What is Karma?

Karma is a point system that rewards you for your activities on CoinList. Karma increases your chance of getting into Token Launches and exclusive offers when you contribute to crypto protocols. Earn for doing good for crypto!

All the Karma that you earn by completing these activities must be claimed to increase your Karma Score. See FAQ for more details.

2. Claim Karma for Events and Achievements.

You can claim Karma from Events and Achievements.

Events are activities from which you can earn Karma over a specified period of time. Once the event ends, the Karma you earned during that event becomes claimable. If you don’t claim your Karma within 7 days after the event ends, this unclaimed Karma will expire. There are two such events available now, with many more on the way:

  • Trading - Earn 0.05 Karma per dollar traded on CoinList, CoinList Pro, and Conversions
  • Staking - Earn 0.05 Karma on the value of your staked assets daily

Achievements are one-time claims awarded upon completing specific activities on CoinList, such as your first deposit, first trade, first stake, and more. Once an achievement is awarded, the Karma for that achievement becomes claimable.

Any Karma that you claim does not expire. Only unclaimed Karma may expire after a specified period of time.

3. Earn your Tier.

Your Karma score now places you in one of five Tiers: Rust, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

Each Tier has a certain percentage of users with Rust Tier being the bottom 40% of earners, and Platinum Tier being the top 5% of earners.

The higher your Tier, the higher your chance of getting into Token Launches and other exclusive offerings.

Tiers are updated hourly so the Tier you are placed in after claiming Karma may change depending on how much Karma others have earned as well. Everyone wants to be at the top.

View your Karma tier here.

4. Pick up where you left off.

We also make it easy for you to see a clear history of all the Karma you claim moving forward.

Users with Karma from the legacy system will need to claim your Legacy Karma in order to transfer it to the new system.

You can claim this Legacy Karma by logging in and going to the Karma page here. You will then see a claim available for "Legacy Karma" that has all the Karma you've earned from the legacy system. Unclaimed Legacy Karma will expire May 15 at 23:59 UTC.

We’re excited to have you here with us in this new era of Karma on CoinList. For everything else we introduced in our Spring 2024 Release, visit our release page here.
