CoinList Launches First Fully Onchain Token Sale with Zama
For the first time ever, CoinList is now fully non-custodial and onchain.
We’re excited to kick off this new chapter of our business with our first fully onchain token sale: the highly anticipated Zama Auction.
The sale marks a major milestone for CoinList as it enters a new onchain era, bringing token sales, distributions, and ownership directly into the native ecosystems of the projects we serve and users’ self-custodial wallets.
Projects increasingly want participants engaging directly with their products and ecosystems, not centralized intermediaries, and the Zama sale will be a live use-case of their homomorphic encryption (FHE) technology. The auction will be conducted fully on-chain, but user bids will be confidential, private and encrypted.
Zama is the world’s first $1B open-source cryptography unicorn, bringing fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to production. Often described as HTTPS for blockchains, Zama adds a confidentiality layer to networks like Ethereum and Solana, enabling private transfers, swaps, staking, confidential stablecoins, and RWA tokenization.
Sale Terms
The Zama Auction is a sealed-bid Dutch auction. Participants submit confidential bids, and the clearing price is determined based on demand. This auction method aims to ensure fair price discovery while minimizing manipulation.

- After bidding ends, bids are sorted from highest to lowest. The auction clears at the price where the total allocated tokens reach the supply limit.
- Bids above the clearing price get full allocation. Bids equal to the clearing price may get partial allocation. Bids below the clearing price receive no tokens and will be fully refunded.
