Introducing Passage by CoinList: The Access Layer for Onchain Capital Markets
CoinList was founded on a simple belief: access to the next generation of financial opportunities should be available to everyone.
For years, CoinList was best known as the place to discover and participate in high-quality token launches. Since 2017, CoinList has helped launch and distribute some of crypto’s most important networks, including Filecoin, Solana, Near, Ondo, Moca, USD.AI, and many more. Investors and community members from more than 160 countries have purchased more than $1.2B in early stage assets on CoinList.
Today, we are expanding that mission.
Capital formation is increasingly moving onchain. Tokenized equities, pre-IPO exposure, funds, vaults, yield products, and other real-world assets are beginning to live on crypto rails, but we are still early.
The opportunity is enormous. The infrastructure is still missing.
Issuers need compliant distribution of onchain access. Wallets and exchanges need avenues for growth and products that boost engagement and profit without forcing them to transform into full-blown capital markets institutions.. Similarly, investors need trusted access to onchain opportunities across all asset classes.
That is why we are introducing Passage by CoinList. You can check it out here: passage.coinlist.co
Passage is the access and distribution layer for onchain capital markets. Built on CoinList’s battle-tested infrastructure, Passage connects issuers, platforms, and investors through the compliance, eligibility, funding, allocation, and distribution infrastructure needed to bring tokenized assets onchain at scale.
Solving the distribution for tokenized assets
Tokenized assets are one of the most important emerging categories in crypto, but the market is still early and fragmented.
Different issuers, tokenization platforms, chains, and assets operate differently. They all exist within different compliance rules, settlement models, transfer restrictions and venues, eligibility requirements and liquidity parameters. The same fragmentation exists in tokenized equities, money market funds, pre-IPO products, private offerings, and yield products. Each comes with its own workflows and constraints.
Fragmentation creates two problems.
First, issuers struggle to reach qualified onchain demand. Tokenizing an asset is not the same thing as distributing it. Issuers need access to users, compliant onboarding, investor qualification, funding flows, and trusted front-end experiences.
Second, platforms struggle to support these assets on a universal basis. A wallet, exchange, or trading terminal may want to offer tokenized equities, token sales, funds, or pre-IPO exposure – Those products each may require different eligibility rules, compliance steps, purchase flows, token standards, chains, and asset-specific restrictions.
Passage is designed to sit in the middle as the orchestration layer that helps issuers distribute assets and helps platforms embed access to those assets.
In practical terms, Passage helps answer the questions every onchain financial product needs to solve:
- Who is allowed to participate?
- What eligibility checks need to be completed?
- What jurisdictions are supported?
- What wallet can receive, send, or interact with the asset?
- How does the investor fund the purchase?
- How is allocation or distribution handled?
- What disclosures and consents need to be embedded?
Passage provides the infrastructure needed to distribute tokenized assets without every issuer or platform rebuilding the same stack from scratch for a single offering.

Built on CoinList’s core infrastructure
Passage is new, but the underlying capabilities are not.
CoinList has spent years building the infrastructure required to run compliant, global, high-demand capital formation events. Token sales taught us how to manage eligibility, compliance, allocation, funding, distribution, disclosures, wallet delivery, and user support at scale. In 2025, we migrated all of that onchain under a noncustodial model.
Those same primitives apply far beyond token sales.
A tokenized equity offering may require a different structure than a token sale. A pre-IPO product may require different eligibility rules than a fund. A vault may require different disclosures than a public token launch. But underneath the surface, the same core infrastructure is required: identity, eligibility, compliance, funding, allocation, distribution, and asset delivery.
Passage brings those capabilities together in one platform. A wallet can offer token sales and tokenized equities. A trading terminal can offer vaults and pre-IPO exposure. An onchain exchange can add differentiated onchain assets.
The platform keeps the user relationship. CoinList provides the infrastructure, issuer network, compliance workflows, and asset access.
Superstate, Peaq, and an expanding asset network
Issuers and issuance platforms come to CoinList because distribution matters.
Our integration with Superstate Opening Bell is an important step into tokenized public equities. Superstate Opening Bell enables companies to tokenize stock and raise capital through onchain Direct Issuance Programs. Through Passage, CoinList users and connected distribution partners will be able to access supported Superstate offerings through CoinList-powered flows.
We are also working with Peaq and Dualmint to expand access to tokenized yield opportunities driven by revenue sharing activity from autonomous machines such as KanyaAI’s AI-optimized vertical farm with an estimated yield of 20%. The Dualmint platform will be the first to leverage the Passage infrastructure from compliance to funding to asset distribution. More details about the first available asset to come soon.
Together, these integrations point toward the future Passage is built for: a world where platforms can offer tokenized public equities, private market exposure, token sales, funds, vaults, and other onchain financial products through a single integration.
We are rapidly expanding the network of issuers and assets available through Passage. If you are an asset issuer or issuance platform, Passage can help solve the onchain distribution problem. Please get in touch with us.
The next era of CoinList
Passage represents the next era of CoinList.
We are still committed to token sales. They remain one of the most important and proven use cases in crypto. But token sales are only one part of a much larger shift.
Traditional financial products are moving onchain. Financial products are becoming programmable. Consumer applications are becoming financial platforms. Investors want access to the entirety of the financial universe.
Passage is how CoinList will help power that future.
- For issuers, Passage provides compliant distribution.
- For platforms, Passage provides embedded onchain financial products.
- For investors, Passage provides access to new categories of opportunities directly in the apps you already use.
The future of capital markets will not live in one app, one exchange, one issuer, or one chain. It will be distributed across the applications people already use.
Passage is the access layer for that future.
