CoinList Donates On Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday — the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States — is a global movement that has inspired millions of people to engage in a simple act of generosity and give back in whatever ways they can.

This Giving Tuesday, CoinList is donating to five organizations that are actively fighting against the humanitarian crises in Ukraine, Russia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Turkey by providing on-the-ground support, food, shelter, and medical aid to children and disadvantaged communities in these regions:

  1. Razom 🇺🇦 — Razom is a non-profit organization supporting the people of Ukraine in their pursuit of a democratic society with dignity, justice, and human and civil rights for all. Following the Russian military’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Razom has quickly mobilized an Emergency Response Fund focused on saving lives.
  2. Russian Children’s Welfare Society 🇷🇺 — The RCWS is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization headquartered in New York and dedicated to assisting disadvantaged Russian children to improve their health, education, and social welfare. The RCWS funds scholarship programs, medical procedures, pediatric hospitals, rehabilitation programs, and orphanages throughout Russia. Today, they are helping struggling Russian orphans worldwide.
  3. Children’s Shelter of Cebu 🇵🇭 — Children's Shelter of Cebu operates four homes for 90-95 abandoned, neglected, and abused children in Cebu City, Philippines. CSC is about restoring lives. They provide food, shelter, and medicine, but also schooling, counseling and relationships that foster healing.
  4. Ahbap 🇹🇷 — The Ahbap Foundation, a Turkish philanthropic fund and foundation, has helped people that lost their homes during the wildfires in Turkey, children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy disease, children suffering from poverty in rural parts of Turkey, and many more.
  5. Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation 🇻🇳 — Since 2003, Blue Dragon has been a powerful force for change on the streets of Vietnam, both in the bustling cities and in rural areas where poverty is widespread. They offer children and families in crisis the chance to turn their lives around, providing practical solutions to the daily problems that are keeping poverty alive.

Last but not least, we are proud to donate to Coin Center, the leading non-profit research and advocacy center on the public policy issues facing cryptocurrency and decentralized computing technologies.

Now more than ever we must educate policymakers and advocate for a clear and sensible approach to this industry, and we stand by Coin Center in their mission to defend the rights of individuals to build and use free and open crypto networks.
