Rewards

Portal’s reward program is designed to engage and incentivize active participants in a groundbreaking way, moving beyond standard token airdrops. Here’s how rewards are structured for the Aurelia Testnet:

1/ LiteNode Distribution

  • Total Incentive: 21,000 LiteNodes are being distributed over six weeks during the testnet.
  • Eligibility: Active testnet participants can earn LiteNodes by completing weekly tasks on BonusBlock and achieving leaderboard rankings.
  • Weekly tasks and leaderboard rankings will determine eligibility for earning LiteNodes, promoting active engagement and competition.
  • Earning Potential: Participants can earn up to 7 LiteNodes (1 per week + leaderboard rewards).

2/ Value of LiteNodes

  • Each LiteNode grants 9,285 tokens if the node remains active and staked, making participation both valuable and rewarding.

3/ Decentralization and Accessibility

  • LiteNodes are simple to run on a basic laptop or VPS, enabling widespread participation and helping decentralize the Portal Network while providing essential data validation.

4/ Additional Referral Rewards

  • Influencers can earn extra tokens by sharing their unique referral codes through the platform, encouraging broader participation and engagement.

For additional information on selection criteria and how participants will be notified, see deal page.

Timeline

The incentivized testnet, Aurelia Testnet, launched on Monday, December 9th, and will run for a total of six weeks, concluding on Sunday, January 19th. This timeframe provides participants with ample opportunity to engage actively and earn LiteNodes. This schedule is subject to change as the testnet progresses at the sole discretion of Portal.
